Co-owners and active managing partners Lynn Momrow and Joanne Moon bring over 60 years of collective business and general management experience to Extreme Molding. With a hands-on approach, Momrow and Moon work on the floor at least 25% of the time to stay directly involved in all operations.
We have a strong hands-on technical team with five full-time engineers and several technicians.
Lynn graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY with a B.S in Chemical Engineering and a M.S in Industrial and Management Engineering.
She was a Development Engineer for Mobil Chemical Company, followed by Operations Manager and Global Technical Marketing Manager for GE Silicones.
Lynn was subsequently General Manager of Canton Biomedical which was acquired by Saint- Gobain Performance Plastics, where she became the World Wide General Manager of the Laboratory Products Business Unit.
In 2002, Lynn co-founded Extreme Molding with Joanne Moon and remains an active Managing Partner in the business.
Joanne graduated from Upsala College in New Jersey and pursued an MBA from Seton Hall University in New Jersey where she was employed by L'Oreal-Lancome cosmetics as a Product Supervisor.
Joanne became a Plant Manager and later Director of Manufacturing for CR Bard, the medical products manufacturer.
After 13 years, Joanne left to become employee number 2 of UroMed, a medical device manufacturing start-up which staged a successful IPO in 1994.
In 2000, Joanne became Worldwide General Manager of Healthcare Products for Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics.
In 2002, she co-founded Extreme Molding with Lynn Momrow and remains an active Managing Partner in the business.
Bob joined Extreme Molding in 2004 as Lead Process Engineer.
He holds a BS in Materials Engineering From Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
His expertise is injection molding of thermosets and thermoplastics.
He is well versed in processing silicones, fluoroelastomers, engineered resins and thermoplastic elastomers.
Jessica Dombrosky graduated from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a Bachelor's in Biomedical engineering with an emphasis on mechanics.
She has been with Extreme Molding since early 2004 as a design engineer. Her areas of expertise include part and mold design with SOLIDWORKS prototyping and part inspection.
Michael Fil joined Extreme Molding in 2010 as Production Engineer/Manager after working for two years as a part-time intern.
He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY.
Mike's focus is running an efficient and quality-focused production operation.
